Scholarship Guidelines
1. In order to get a scholarship, you must submit an application within the specified period each semester. If you don't follow the specified procedure, you are considered to have given up the eligibility for a scholarship in accordance to the Clause 12 of the Scholarship Payment Regulations.

2. When selecting a scholarship student, the Pass/Fail classes are not included in the GPA.
Minimum earned credits: 12 credits (9 credits in case of the senior year)

3.Academic performance will be based on the grade and credits earned from the immediately preceding semester (In case of the last semester for Student Staff Scholarship, based on the pertinent semester)

4. Students are excluded from the eligibility for scholarship, other than specifically indicated in the school regulations, in the following cases:
   - Students who are not currently enrolled (students on leave, enrolled students who could not graduate within the time limit for degree completion, students with graduation reservation, students who graduated, students who withdrew from school, and students with other changes in the school register)
   - Students who fall short on the grade or earned credit requirements
   - Students who are the recipients of the academic excellence scholarship for freshmen but transferred to a different major course

5. When withdrawing from school, you have to return the scholarship you were awarded based on the Article 6 of the Scholarship Payment Regulations

6. Others
   - If you qualify for the academic excellence scholarship for freshmen but became disqualified due to bad grades, you can reinstate the qualification when you satisfy the credit and GPA requirements. However, you have only one chance for the reinstatement. If you are a one-year term scholarship recipient, the scholarship will end once you drop out of it.
   - If you are a child of a veteran and plan to take a leave of absence, you are prohibited from taking a registered leave of absence. You have to apply when you return to school.
   - These guidelines are a summarized version of the scholarship payment regulations. Refer to the full scholarship payment regulations or detailed specifications for the scholarship payment regulations for further details. If you have trouble understanding or translating any part of the regulations, contact the staff in charge of scholarship program.
