1. The types of scholarships
- The types of scholarships are as follows.
- Academic Scholarship
- Research Assistant Scholarship
- Merit and special scholarship
- Research Support Scholarship
- Research project participation scholarship
- Health and Medical Personnel Scholarship
- Foundation Employee Scholarship
- Basic Medical Scholarship
- Medical Resident support scholarship
- Basic Medicine Scholarship
- Academic Scholarship
- A certain amount of scholarship can be given to those who have excellent grades while in school, with the recommendation of the head professor and with the approval of the scholarship committee and the president.
- Research Principal Scholarship
- A research assistant scholarship can be provided to those who work as research assistants. The amount of this scholarship is equivalent to that of the tuition and school support fee for each semester, and a fixed monthly scholarship can be separately paid according to the type of research assistant.
- Contribution and Special Scholarship
- A merit scholarship may be awarded to a student who has honored the school with the president's approval according to the resolution of the scholarship committee.
- Special scholarships may be awarded to those who fall under any of the following subparagraphs with the president's approval according to the resolution of the scholarship committee.
- A person who has made a significant contribution to school development or their immediate child
- Persons recommended by the president
- Applicants for master's or doctoral programs from the university and those who fall under any of the following items (revision 2013.03.01)
- Top graduate at the graduate school: All tuition fees for master’s and doctoral programs
- Top graduate of colleges and divisions: 100% of master’s or doctoral tuition (Revised 2013.03.01., 2014.11.18)
- Department (Division) GPA 4.25 or higher: 100% of master’s or doctoral tuition (Revised 2013.03.01., 2014.11.18)
- Department (Division) GPA 4.0 or higher: 75% of master’s or doctoral tuition (Revised 2013.03.01., 2014.11.18)
- Department (Division) GPA 3.5 or higher: 25% of master’s or doctoral tuition (Revised 2013.03.01., 2014.11.18)

- International students admitted by agreement
- International students recommended by the department head professor and advisor
- International students who teach in English for master's and doctoral programs
- Research Support Scholarship
- Research support scholarships may be provided to students with excellent academic performance to support the department's lab practice and to improve the research performance of professors (revision 2013.05.31)
- Qualification standards for teachers for recommending research support scholarship students are separately determined. (Revised 2013.03.01, 2013.05.31)
- The recommended students are limited to full-time students.
- To promote graduate school research and attract excellent students, research support scholarships can be provided after deliberation by the Graduate School Scholarship Committee. (Revised 2013.05.31.)

- Selection Criteria
- The scholarship student selection criteria are as follows.
- To receive the academic scholarship under Article 6, the GPA of the previous semester must be at least A.
- In the case of the same score among the selected candidates, the selection is made considering the number of courses, semester, family circumstances, etc.
- Students who wish to receive a scholarship must receive a recommendation from the department head before registering for each semester.
