Biomedical Engineering (BME) is a representative convergence science that pioneers the convergence technology of BINT (BT+IT+NT), a new academic field by combining life science and medical technology with various fields such as electricity, electronics, machinery, information, computer engineering, and AI. Department of Biomedical Engineering nurtures practical experts who research, develop, and industrialize engineering technologies necessary for medicine and life sciences based on the understanding of engineering technologies in various fields that make up BME, and develop advanced medical devices and identify life phenomena. This department also aims to contribute to human intellectual property and welfare by researching and developing knowledge and technology.
