Due to differences in academic schedules, students may be disadvantaged in acquiring grades before the graduation ceremony.

Number of times to apply
Based on all grades, limited to 1 time during the general leave of absence.
Study period
The exchange period is 1 semester unit (separate seasonal semesters) and can be divided into several semesters within the range of credits acquired at other universities.
Course completion

Credit exchange students can choose and take all courses at other universities and our university within the range of credits they have applied for per semester.

Affiliated liberal arts, compulsory liberal arts, compulsory majors, and teaching profession courses are recognized as credits required for graduation only if they are completed at our university.
※ Students cannot complete affiliated liberal arts, required liberal arts, required major, and teaching subjects due to credit exchange. -
Retaking the course is only recognized for the same subject. (Similar subjects are not accepted)
Credit Recognition

Credits earned at other universities are recognized as “General Electives.”

“Liberal Arts elective” or “Major elective” is recognized only when our university's course name and credits and the credit exchange university are the same.

Recognition of “major elective” is recognized only for the student's own major.

How to apply for credit exchange
Fill out the application for credit exchange → Recommendation from division head (department) → Submit to the Academic Support Team (Academic Affairs Team in Medical Campus) → Issue recommendation letter → Submit to the exchange university.
Change of course

During the course change period of the relevant university, you must apply for course change directly according to the procedure of the relevant university.

After the course change, the student must notify the course change to Gachon University, Global Campus: Academic Support Team (031-750-5727) / Medical Campus: Academic Affairs Team (032-820-4052).
Tuition and course fees

Tuition for the regular semester is paid to the school.

The tuition fee for the seasonal semester is paid to the exchange university according to the course to be taken.
Grade evaluation and recognition

The grades of subjects acquired at the teaching university during the regular and seasonal semesters are included in the average GPA conversion.

According to Article 48 of Gachon University's school regulations, grades are treated based on percentage points.
