The Department of Nursing is doing its best to help students develop scientific inquiry, clinical practical skills, creativity, and critical thinking to have excellent qualities as nurses, contribute to the health promotion of human society, and respond to social needs.
The students are taking clinical practices in Gachon University Gil Hospital with 1700 beds, located at Guwol-dong, Incheon, Heart Center, Women's Health Center, West Sea Emergency Center, and Incheon Regional Cancer Center, as well as Samsung Seoul Hospital, Asan Medical Center, Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, Boramae Hospital, Incheon Medical Center, etc. In a large hospital in the metropolitan area, clinical nursing practice is conducted in 1:1 practice guidance by a preceptor.
Several clubs engage in internal and external activities, such as 'visiting stethoscope (medical service),' 'Magnus (service for the mentally disabled)' and 'RCY (joint service club)' operated by the Department of Nursing. Scholarships provided by the Department of Nursing include scholarships for academic excellence, academic support scholarships, overseas exchange scholarships, and TOEIC scholarships.
Under the enthusiastic guidance and encouragement of excellent faculty and the strong support and interest of seniors, students can develop their ability to succeed in a healthy and strong environment in the diverse environment of nursing.
