The Department of Herb Medicine educates a medical system that combines academic theories and clinical techniques to fit the constitution and life of our people based on Oriental philosophy and natural principles. The curriculum consists of 2 years of preparatory courses and 4 years of main courses. To produce herbalists, the pre-school educates liberal arts subjects that develop basic knowledge and basic subjects of herbal medicine.
Students study and practice basic medicine such as atomic origin, herbal medicine, anatomy, and pathology in the first and second years and study clinical medicine in the third and fourth years. Through active exchanges with its sister school, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, it is taking the lead in the internationalization of herb medicine by frequently identifying research trends in overseas herb medicine.
